You can help foster families in Laurens County, South Carolina by stocking a closet full of supplies. The supplies will include things like diapers, formula, and other important items that foster families must have to meet the needs of their foster children. We will also be looking to supply winter coats, clothing, bed sheets, etc. It can be very expensive to care for foster children, especially when they are first placed. We hope to help set up this closet so that families will have a resource to turn to for help.
Lost Sparrows will be matching all donations up to $500.

Our trip to Bosnia, Bulgaria and Moscow this past April was a tremendous success. We could not have done it without the support from all of you that have prayed and donated to Lost Sparrows. Our first week in Bosnia was encouraging. We spent a week in and around Sarajevo, training caregivers, working in local orphanages, visiting local churches, and networking with other organizations in country. We feel that we will have a unique opportunity in Bosnia moving forward. We will be trying to support their foster families, continue training caregivers, as well as support several local crisis pregnancy centers.
After our week in Sarajevo, Stacey was able to spend a week with our partners in Bulgaria. It was a very challenging week working in orphanages and baby houses with children with special needs, autism, and attachment disorders. The need for help is great, and so many children are needing the love of a family. We will be back in Bulgaria by next summer to continue to try and deinstitutionalize as many children as possible, and help them find the love of a family.
Our third week in Europe was spent in Moscow. Stacey spent several days presenting on trauma to over 200 foster families. Great relationships were formed, and we have been asked to return in the Spring of 2020.
Since we returned from our trip, we have been meeting regularly with our team, partners and board for strategic planning sessions. God has been so faithful this year, and we feel more motivated than ever to continue to fight for orphans and children with special needs, and to support families. In order to more effectively fulfill the mission God has given us, Lost Sparrows has moved. We spent the last few months moving our family across the country from Arizona to Winona Lake, Indiana. This is quite a feat with 7 children, but we made it and are settling in finally. We are excited to announce that Stacey will be working Lost Sparrows full time from home. This should allow us to continue to expand and grow our influence as the Lord leads.
Please continue to pray for us and for all of our partners as we continue to fight for orphans in Eastern Europe.
Also, we have been reworking our website, and will be ready to relaunch our updated site very soon!
